As the first quarter of the new decade comes to a close, artists are forced to start a new chapter of their careers. This is a fragile time and a critical point in the lives of creatives everywhere. Anxiety is seemingly ubiquitous but we will never lose the ability to choose how we react to adversity.
Upon receiving the news that the US declared a state of emergency, I decided to take a moment to meditate and reflect on this change with a stack of records. These 5 minutes were the result. Creating this beat tape helped me process many of the feels I have had thus far in the new decade.
